has opened number of Schools and Colleges including Technical Schools
in throughout Karnataka for the benefit of poor and down trodden
people particularly at rural areas. The aim of this society is to
up lift the poor and down trodden students Hence this society has
started Ayurvedic Medicine College, Engineering College, Nursing
Colleges, B.Ed. Colleges, D.Ed. Colleges, Degree Colleges, Pre-University
Colleges, High Schools and Primary Schools including Hostels.

Management has started B.Ed. College for Women's in the name of
the Smt. Hemavathi Kuvempu Women's College of Education during the
year 2005-06 with intake 100."

This college has been located in a beautiful building in front of
the Historical Fort, Chitradurga.

Management has appointed fully qualified Teaching & Non-teaching
staff to this B.Ed. College. We got 95% result in the 1st Batch
which shows the greatness of the college. The ratio between the
students & the Staff is 1:10. The Management has provided Hostel
facilities for Girls. There are nearly 4000 books including Text
Books, Reference Books and Encyclopedia, including 15 Monthly Magazine
and Newspapers and well equipped Science Laboratory have been provided
including indoor and outdoor game. The seating arrangements have
been made to the students sufficiently. We have introduced the Kuvempu
University syllabus for B.Ed. Students as follows and also as per
the norms of the Kuvempu University and NCTE, Bangalore.

Annual Functions will be conducted yearly. The prizes will be distributed
to the meritorious and merit students, sports men etc.

Eligibility
for Admission:
1. The Candidate should Pass 3 Years Degree Class.
2. The general and other caster students should have 50.00 % marks
excluding LA. and Class Marks.
3. The SC / ST / Group I and Physically Handicapped students should
have 45.00 % marks excluding LA. and Class Marks.
4. Out of University Students, should have Migration Study Certificate.
5. Out of State Students, should have Eligibility Certificate
and Migration Certificate.
6. 03.00 % seats will be given for Physically Handicapped students.
(The Candidates should have 40.00 % to 70.00 % Physically Handicapped
Certificate by the Government Doctor).
